NBM Technologies is currently searching for talented individuals with expertise in data analysis, image processing and machine learning to advance our technology offerings in civil infrastructure assessments. Successful candidates for will develop tools to help process data collected from railroads, transmission towers, solar farms, etc., using machine learning and computer vision, for inspection purposes.
You will work closely with structural engineers engaged in advanced research and development and with partners leading the way in UAV services and image reconstruction. Depending on your interest, you will also have the opportunity to assist with business development, meet with infrastructure clients, and travel occasionally to infrastructure sites across the United States. NBM conducts its work primarily online and in the cloud, and so the employment location is flexible. The preferred location is the Eastern or Central U.S. because of anticipated intensive collaboration with NBM employees in these time zones.
A Masters of Science degree in engineering or computer science is required, and a Ph.D. is preferred. Excellent programming skills are required, as well as familiarity with MATLAB, Python and R.
